I recently had the opportunity to fish for stripers with Captain Walter Woods of York Maine along with my grandson Daniel and son-in-law John. This is a 25" striper Danny caught and released off Long Sands Beach, York Maine. What a great time we had chasing stripers, catching mackerel and even a cod fish. Captain Walter has been fishing this area since he was a kid and knows the waters well, is a class guy and really made a fun day for us, I can't say enough about him he is everything you want in a captain and more. I'm looking forward to fishing with him again soon.
Fishing the ocean for stripers is a little different than chasing Lake Erie walleye and something I could really get into. If you plan on visiting Maine and want to fish with a great fishing charter captain email me and I get you connected with Walter. It doesn't get any better.
